Jolera and the Environment
As responsible members of corporate society, companies today must be cognizant of the impact they have on the environment.  Through simple measure like double sided printing, in-house recycling programs, electronic archiving (rather than paper), content management process forms, and company paid public transit passes for all staff, Jolera is trying to do its part in saving our planet.  Jolera Executive Alex Shan also sits on the board of the Washington based Green Not-for-Profit Organization, ensuring that Jolera remains aligned with new innovations for a greener planet.

Globalization and its effects on the economy
While globalization is a great thing, Jolera has taken the position of supporting our local North American economy.  We hire our staff in Canada and the U.S. maintaining all data centers, call centers, development and technical expertise locally to North America.  The loss of North American jobs to foreign nations represents a detriment to our society and is rooted in the corporate world’s insatiable appetite for increased profits at any cost – Jolera will take no part in this.
